All of my cats are on TOTW...I've noticed since they've been totally on it and not mixed in with something else, there's been lots of soft poop in the litter box. I've taken the poop in, gotten it checked for parasites, all were negative but all were dewormed anyway, since i do take in fosters that occasionally have fleas and worms, so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I feed all dry, as that is what is affordable with 12 cats. Do you think they need something with more fiber in it? should I mix a food that includes grain into their TOTW? Or totally switch back to a food with grain? They've been on TOTW for about 4 months now, so it should be in their systems, don't you think?

It sounds like Taste may be too rich for their systems.... what did they get feed prior to the switch.. Yes they should be fully adjusted

They ate Chicken Soup adult prior. But I wound up wasting so much of it because they would eat it and crunch it up and leave a million pieces everywhere. Not sure if its because they didn't like it or it was the shape. Are there any foods out there that are similar to Chicken Soup but have the round shape like TOTW?

yes, normal stools during the transition. And all stools aren't mushy, some are nice and formed, others are puddles. With 12 cats its hard to distinguish. Over the course of my 7 year cat ownership they have eaten:
Iams
Chicken Soup
Nutro Max and Natural Choice
Innova
Evo
California Natural
Timberwolf
Felidae
possibly some others that I can'ty think of right now.
I don't remember there ever being problems, but in the last 2 years they have only eaten Chicken Soup and TOTW, and in those 2 years I have aquired 4 new cats. So all the soft poop could be from one of them.

I would suggest mixing the taste with chicken if that is feasible for you
