What country is this? 10,000 points!

These are just a few of the greatest photos I have ever taken. Great because outsiders are never allowed in a gypsy caravan. The best thing you can expect is to have your camera smashed but as you can see I escaped with these and many more pictures. The question is, what country am I in? One guess per username, 10,000 points to the first person with the correct answer.

Note: I never use the same country in my pictures and since I have been to 64 countries, a lot more pictures remain. This is going to be a very hard country to guess and I need to tell you the pictures were taken in 1994.

I have no idea...Romania?

This is going to be purely a guess as I'm not well-traveled and am not familiar with gypsies or the countries large communities are found in. But, for the sake of wanting to participate, I'm going to guess...Bosnia and Herzegovina?

As a side note, I always love these threads, but am too embarrassed to respond in case I'll be seen as ignorant or unintelligent. But, this seems fun and I am going to let go of my insecurities and just go for it .

That would be a very logical guess but as I stated, I never use the same country twice. If you have been playing for a while you would know I have already used Romania.

This is a hard one, it could be many countries...
I'll go with Macedonia

I think it's in South America so I'll say Argentina.

This is a European country albeit one of the least known. Despite this, this country has applied for membership in the E.U.

Where in the world would you see a long caravan like this? Look at the children. What part of Europe could they be from? Where in the world do you actually see things like this? Look at your maps or globes and look at the regions of Europe that you could possibly see something like this. I have a dinner engagement and may not be able to check back until the morn. Keep guessing, there at not THAT many countries in Europe and only a few you would ever witness a sight like this...

I'm going with Latvia because it's on the EU web site and I never hear about it.

I would do more research but the official travel site is in Latvian and at the moment I am on the phone listening to someone ranting about their bad day.

I'm going to make a suggestion since I already gave and answer and can't guess again- I hope that's okay..
I suggest researching which countries in Europe have a large gypsy population...that is what I did and I wish I could guess again, because there aren't that many countries left to guess from
