Any Power Point Experts Here-Need Help

I am working on a PP presentation for school and I am trying to insert music. I have what I want to use on my desktop and in PP I insert music from "sound from file" and it just quits after a couple of seconds, i've been doing this since last night! It's making me crazy!!!! Please help.

Whenever I need help like that I always look on youtube and i find that the instructions these people post are soo easy to understand.
