I tried the dog one a VERY VERY long time ago ( ie nearly 10 yrs)

Feline Formula Ingredients:
Flaxseed not readily bioavable to cat and whole is less digestible than corn , rice branfiber of the rice again not great for digestion unless needing fiber ( most cats need 3-5% fiber ( ie even in raw this is normally recommended amount), primary dried yeastallergen to many, blackstrap molassessugar with a Trace of vitamins, freeze dried beef liver, sunflower seedlike flax not in a usable form, dehydrated alfalfaallergen , dried carrot, shark cartilage powder, freeze dried fish protein powder, freeze dried oyster powderprotein powder of fish I ??? that need , barley grass leaf powder, dried kelp, zinc monomethionine, lecithin, chromium yeast, selenium yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, garlic powder, taurine, yucca schidigera extract, riboflavin, thiamine hydrochloride, folic acid and cobalamin

I have heard wonderful stories of success but around the same number saying why did I bother

The only real ingrediant in there is the beef liver IMO.

I'd have to say its a waste of money.

Question for Sharky: Now that I think about it... maybe this would be a good alternative Fiber source for Bugsy? What do you think? He DOES need + fiber per his vet to feel full, and I am changing his diet... Thoughts? Are there reports of diarrhea on this?

One of my mom's 20-year-old cats was on that for a few years, when she was 8-10 or so. She had some kind of digestive issue, IBD or something (the vet had no idea). It did straighten her out pretty well, and she's actually fine now. For healthy cats, I wouldn't bother, but if a cat has digestive issues, I'd say it's worth a try.

I used to sprinkle this on my mischief's foods, but, due to all the extra stuff in it that cats don't need and can't properly digest, I wouldn't feed it to my cats.

In fact, in retrospect and knowing what I do now that I didn't back then, I probably wouldn't feed it to my rats today, either. It's a lot of money for little to no nutritional value.
