Why do I bother?

Washing the sheets that is. Pinky has a UTI and peed on the bed this morning. Just as I was finishing washing all of the bedding and putting it back on, someone left me a good mushy hairball on the bed - 5 minutes after I had just put it back together! And yes, it soaked thru to the mattress pad.

So here I go washing them again.

(Pinky will be OK - the meds haven't fully kicked in yet.)

Oh, that's funny, Mommyofmany. Shockingly rude of them, but funny none-the-less.

I would probably have called it a day right there, thrown a towel (or three) over the fuzzy wet spot, and gone back to bed.

I sure wish we had the money to rip out the carpet and put down wood flooring in the living room!

My kitties have their own section of the house. It is right off the kitchen. My window over the sink looks right in on them and we communicate all day.

I would just like to know why, with all the area they have (2 rooms) they insist on puking right at the door sill. It was dark this am when I went in to say good am, and plop. Slipper right in it.

I do so love the little "gifts" I get.

But you know, down the road, when they're gone, I can say without a doubt, I will miss their gifts.
