It has taken exactly ONE YEAR but you are now reading a post by CFA licensed Master Clerk Abymummy!

2 assists, 6 solos, last 2 solos error free - one whole year....not too shabby I think, and throw in a full clerking assignment at least year's internationals!

I'm so happy!

Oh, we have people in each ring that do that. I've done it a few times, but prefer to do it out of the ring in peace. And another group that fill in all the catalogues, which I don't like because I miss seeing my cats judged.

Yours may be a bit different to ours, where no real training you are just shown what to do.

The Master Clerks in CFA and TICA get all the results from every ring.
Each ring has a clerk thats gives the info to the Master Clerk.

And then we compile it, get the show count and present it to the exhibitors - helps determine which cat was the highest scoring for the show You need to know show rules and show mechanics backwards, forwards, inside and out!

And yes, a stepping stone to becoming a judge
