Does anyone know how old a kitten needs to be before it is safe to apply Advantage Multi?

Generally speaking, most flea/tick preventatives are not to be used until they are 8 weeks old. I *think* Revolution can be used at 6 weeks?
Best to check with your vet.

I looked up Revolution on their website and they too require the kitten to be at least 8 weeks. Frontline is the same. I would check with your vet to see what you can use on kittens younger than that. I do know that Raid Flea Foam for cats can be used on younger kittens, but I do not recommend it. It hardly works.

EDIT: Advantage Multi actually says that you shouldn't use it on cats younger than 9 weeks. http://www.advantagemulti.com/pdfs/A..._Multi_Cat.pdf

Please, please, please do not use Raid Flea Foam on your cat. No over-the-counter flea meds should ever, ever be used on your cats, especially young ones like yours. Just remember flea meds are poison so any dosage needs to be given by weight and it must be a safe medication from a vet.

Some of the meds can be used under a vets advice on younger kittens, they just need the dosage corrected so your vet can tell you best what to use.

Raid is not even safe for older kittens, I would not use an OTC poison on my pets
