I am so excited to have found this forum! My pussycat, Abigail, has been having some troubles readjusting after our move, and I've found lots of help so far! THANKS!
I am a stay-at-home mom of two humans, one cat, and one rabbit. I freelance for the newspaper and am a writing mentor for a local learning center. Abigail is a tri-colored Maine Coon cat. She'll be 7 years old in August. Our rabbit, Lulu, is part-California and part-New Zealand white. She just turned 5. Our children, Emily, 5, and Edward, 2, adore our pets and behave very well with them. We esp. couldn't ask for a better cat. She has never once scratched either child. She is so sweet with them, and when she's had enough, she just walks off. Being an animal lover, I've taught the children to respect the animals and the animals will return the kindness. I think it's working so far!
