I hate one of my eyebrows. It just doesn't want to grow in the right shape!!
The other one is pretty much perfect and I'm very happy with how it looks ...
After months of trying to use stencils and waiting for this one eyebrow to grow, today I just couldn't take it and I followed the natural shape it wanted to grow and tweezed that way....
Well it turned out to be a disaster. It looks incredibly different than the other one and it almost makes me look cross eyed

Here is a picture

The one I have issues with is the right one. I am soooo upset...I am going to the hair salon to get my hair trimmed on Wednesday and I'm just going to get bangs so my eyebrows don't show...
I just don't understand why this one eyebrow wants to grow in such a different shape than the other one!! I am going to try using stencils again when I get my bangs ....
Does anyone else have this problem??

ut0pia - you have beautiful eyebrows! WHAT are you talking about girl???
Don't get bangs because of this, and they are NOT a disaster

You can match them up by creating an arch on the left one, by pulling some hairs from the bottom at the arch area - they will match up completely.
Arches are IN!!
Or you can just leave them like this - they are beautiful!

I would suggest going to a beautician and explaining your issue - they might be able to fix it?

But I have to say, you do have lovely eyebrows - you should see mine - I have never plucked them or had anything done to them!

Ditto to that! Actually, I allowed a beautician friend of mine to "shape" my brows once (she reallyreally wanted to, so I said yes), and I really didn't like how they looked. I like 'em natural. But I think yours look fine. I think we worry too much about little things like that in ourselves, and nobody else ever notices.

Oh boy I feel pretty embarrassed
I was just talking to my mom and telling her my issues with my eyebrows and how I'm getting bangs and her reaction was the same- that they are not that bad...
I guess I made a mountain out of a mole hill... to me they looked soooo different and bad..

This is the thing, I like the shape where there is no arch because I feel like it's softer and less scary
And I'm afraid of messing it up even further if I can't get an arch that looks remotely similar to the one on the right eyebrow..I guess I'll ask the beautician at the hair salon to match the arch for me. But, still I am not a fan of that shape for my face and growing it out just failed so miserably for me
Any tips on how to make that work??

Yea, beauticians really love thin eyebrows and that doesn't look good on most people!! I've never had a beautician touch mine- but before plucking I had the bushiest eyebrows it was not attractive...ohh and a unibrow

No-I have a serious unibrow. It takes about 40 minutes to do a good pluck job on just one so I usually have icky looking ones until I get them waxed! Mine are much darker than my hair color so to the dismay if my hair stylist I use Jolen's creme beach on them (and have for years and years) to lighten them up so all the hair isn't so obvious.

Alas my husband's eyebrows are almost non existant!

I really don't see that bad of a problem (but its YOUR face). I think you look pretty the way you are. I have bangs - but I cannot STAND them when I can look up and see them. If you have bangs you are getting them darn close to your eyes and probably will bug the heck out of you being that close and you will end up brushing them to the sides.

My hair doesn't grow fast but IMO my bangs do!

You can ask them to not go so thin. Just ask for a natural but more trimmed look. Mine always does this and does a great job! But I try to not get them done too often because I believe I'm slightly allergic to the wax or something... my brows tend to be very puffy and red for 2 days... its not fun!

Thanks everyone
you guys are so helpful and sweet .. I really blew this thing wayyy out of proportion
..I can't believe I felt like everyone will notice one of my eyebrows being soooo much different than the other and it will be the first thing they notice when they see me!! I feel much better now..and my friend reassured me they can never look the same and if they do, that is tacky
I am not sure how true that is

The bangs idea might stay though just because it might be a fun thing to try!!..I mean the worst thing to happen would be for me to dislike it and have to clip them back until they grow...No biggie...

I have always done my own eyebrows and for a stretch I had them too thin and arched and I looked constantly surprised
Now, they are just the right thickness and arch, but they are by no means identical, they refuse to cooperate, but I think of them as good enough!

As is so often the case, you're much more critical of yourself than others are. In fact, I never would have noticed any difference. I'm not sure I see the difference, even when you point it out.

The little imperfections are what make us "us."

I've only plucked my eye brows once. I was in the tenth grade, it was September and I had a friend nagging me about my "bushy" eye brows, so finally one Sunday night I did it.

Well, since it was September I still had a tan, and I had to go to school the next day with big strips of white skin under what was left of my eye brows. hahaha! Mortifying when you are 15!

I never did it again. Love me, love my eyebrows.

I don't see any difference between the two in your pic, they look very nice.
