To the OP - unless you have papers to prove the "breed" you would just call him a domestic longhair. He does look more Maine Coonish to me then NFC. The head/muzzle is more square. NFC have a "triangle" shaped face. when you put the two together, you can see the difference quicker.
Hi everyone - thanks for your responses. She is a mix that we rescued from a shelter and she's wonderful - very vocal and affectionate. She's pretty large, but I agree with you that most likely she has some Miane Coon blood in her....but with no papers...she's simply our wonderful longhair.
