Morning All!!

Cloudy here today, mild though so that is a bonus.

Attending a flu clinic today to get my H1N1 shot.

Afterwards have a bit of Christmas shopping to do. They are having some great sales on downtown at a couple of novelty shops so it's a good chance to pick up a couple of things that would normally be out of my price range.

Nothing else on the the agenda except maybe another movie tonight.

The kitties are good just finishing up their breakfast.

Everyone have a great day

Mornin

I SLEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually got 7 hrs uninterrupted sleep, then an additional hour. Definately celebrating that one.

Have a doc appt here shortly, then going out to the in-laws so that we can put away DHs car and get our normal vehicles in the garage before the snow flies. Plus take the insurance off the car, and save some $$$.

We usually put it away earlier, but with all of us being sick, we haven't had the chance to do so.

Then I have some snakies to feed, and DH will have to help me with one of the big girls, I still don't have the hand strength back to handle her..... so my loving husband gets the chore of moving her out of her cage so I can clean it

and that, who know..... been toying with an idea of a roadtrip either today or tomorrow.... so we'll see how I'm feeling later after all this is done.

Have a good day

Woo Hoo Congrats on the sleep, I slept pretty good as well, woke up a couple of times but went back to sleep quite quickly. So I am feeling pretty good as well.

And how big is this snake that Mark has to move?

Yay! Congrats on the sleep, Chris!

we were off to the vet early this morning to get Cotton's thyroid bloodwork done (we need to check his levels since his dosage was lowered). DH is at a work thing with my dad this morning and I'm just kicking back and convincing the cats that breakfast was late because Cotton needed to fast, not because I have anything against them.

Otherwise, it's grey here but not too chilly.

Hope everyone has a good one.

There's no place like home
on the sleep Chris!!

I started the day doing my normal chores, then realized that I'm working from home for the next 6 weeks, then retiring at the end of the year. I don't have to get everything done on the weekends ever again.

So I'm going to pull out my embroidery machine and start on the Christmas gifts today.

I've got a big Cheshire cat grin on my face right now.

Same old here today. Only thing doing is normal chores, and will try for a pic of the cats drinking out of the horse water tub. There were several perched on the edge last night, drinking right along with the horses

Whimsey got me out of bed at 5:00 a.m. because he was hungry, then promptly threw all he'd eaten up on my bed. I think/hope he ate too fast. Then he was STILL hungry so I got some baby food down him.

I still watch him like a hawk which is why my apartment is a mess and I am just plain TIRED.

Has anyone experienced the phenomena that the more you pick up, the messier your living space gets?

Depressed.

YYYAAAAAYYY!!!

I know how that feels now. After a month of sleeping with my knee in a brace, and not getting much sleep, I had the brace off last night... I got to sleep in the fetal position and man did I get sleep... so I hear ya. It feels good. Really good. And I slept with little pain.

Today will be fun... I have a club meeting this afternoon, at which one of our members will actually show up (he usually doesn't attend the meetings), as he has a late housewarming/birthday/early Christmas present for me. it kinda scares me a bit. He says it's bigger than a bread box, but smaller than a VW Bug. Again, scared? It's probably penguin related... as everyone around here gives me penguins... stuffed, ceramic, you name it.
Then I have a NaNoWriMo write in at 5. I was just shy of my goal wordcount last night, so I'm doing really well on that.

Other than that, just chilling out. We had more rain last night, but it is clear and cool this morning, 41 degrees out. supposedly to stay clear today.

Have a good day everyone!!

Wow, sounds like pretty good days all around - and great last nights for everyone!

I did take a sleeping pill, but definitely caught up on all the sleep I've missed all week - I slept 12 hours! Meant to do chores today, but since I've been up, Gary's' managed to fall asleep, so I'm afraid to move. The littlest thing disturbs him. So I might be stuck in bed for the afternoon. Guess I'll either be napping or on the laptop. Such a chore.

Well, my sleep wasn't so good,
. I had the strangest, most disturbing, most realistic dream ever. And I kept dreaming I was waking up in the dream...and then it would just continue. Very disconcerting. And of course Josh wasn't home last night so I got pretty panicked when I finally woke up around 5AM. I woke up feeling terrified. I hate that feeling!

Went to work this morning. Doc is still out of town so it was just me all day. Just a couple of minor appointments (nail trim, anal glands, vit B shot) but otherwise VERY quiet. I finally got caught up on the controlled substances log though, which is a weight off. Then I had to get a very VERY unhappy boarder back into her carrier. She's so aggressive I had to get the gloves which I hate doing. Two giant gloves coming at you can't help the situation. And then of course she pooped EVERYWHERE and got it all over herself and the townhouse. She bit me through the gloves, so my thumb is very sore and a little bruised. Ouch.

I think a nap is definitely in order. And then some chores around the house.
