eye issue

I just noticed that the area above Mynie's eye is somewhat swollen with a few red dots. Her eye won't open all the way either (I don't see any discharge). Any idea what may be the matter? She is an indoor cat with no claws, so I don't think she scratched herself. Thanks!

Could it be a bug bite? Maybe a bee sting. It sounds like something that should be looked at by the vet. So near to the eye, I would be a little nervous. Hope it is nothing serious.

Could it possibly be an allergic reaction to something? Otherwise, I would second the bug bite possibility.
