I don't know why so many people think the desert is barren and colorless, unless they've never actually seen it in person.
You can all see now why I simply love it here.
It's supposed to be 84f today, the pool is heated and the wind is calm.

It IS beautiful! ...but I couldn't take the summers.

As an RV dweller like myself, you know that the main AC cannot cool if temps get above 90, but I also have a window unit installed (sacrificed my forward emergency exit) and the two ACs swap back and forth and my trailer stays a very comfortable 81-85.
And of course I am on the Colorado river with it's cold, clear waters with boats and jetskis aplenty.
But when it's 115-125 out no one but an idiot is outside and that 81-85 indoor temp is quite chilly
