...getting to know all about you...

This is where Sissycat has taken up residence most of the time when she's not on top of my bed. Under the cedar chest seems to be a fairly safe place - Penny likes to get under there a lot.

Maxwell, being the bold little creature that he is, is INSISTING that they become friends. So he's decided to try getting closer, and closer and closer to her, despite her growling and hissing at him every time he moves.

Isn't Max just the sweetest love!

What's great is that you can see that she is relaxed even though she is defensive with him right now. She is sort of laying down the law! But I am sure they are gonna be buddies as soon as she feels he knows who is the big boss.

Awwww.....how sweet! My Tolly is like that, he wants to love every cat.

As was said, Sissy appears quite relaxed in spite of her street language!

Once when Jennie first came she was swearing something terrible at Tolly (in a situation similar to your pic). Tolly just sat there looking at her in amazement as Jennie hurled one expletive after another! And then......

......she yawned!

Right in the middle of all that noise. Hahaha! It was impossible to take her seriously after that. She's never lost her habit of gutter language, even in play she can be quite profane, but we've all gotten used to it now.

I just let Sissy in the house again, and Penny sauntered up near her, was going to pass right on by until Sissycat hissed at her. Penny stopped short, looked at Sissy briefly, then practically shrugged her shoulders, turned around and walked back out of the room.

I don't think there will be any issues between those two.
