do kitties like kisses?

Ok, here's another in a long line of silly questions from me:

Do kitties like kisses? I mean, when their human kisses them on the head, or whatnot, as a sign of affection. Do you think your kitties can tell that you're showing your love for them?

I'm sure Squeaky would probably appreciate it more if I were to lick her, but um yeah, no I'll just stick to kissing her fuzzy little head.

a couple of mine love to give AND get kisses!! Perseus rubs his face on my mouth when I give him kisses (which is returning them to me ) and Atlas will put his nose to my mouth when I'm holding him

Merlin loves it when I trail a series of kisses in the soft fur behind his ears. I figure that's what his mom did!

Sassy likes kisses, Mia loves any attention she can get. Sasha likes them if she is in a particularly lovey mood.

While Genever enjoys a cuddle and scritches, I'm not sure if she actually likes getting kisses... but BF and I love giving her kisses, so too bad for her!

Speck endures kisses, though he prefers head butts and chin rubs. Ditto, Marshmallow. I wouldn't dare put my face close enough to Daisy's to find out. That would be a good way to lose a nose...(mine!)

Lucky asks for it - she stops in front of me, gives me the loving eyes, sticks her head out in my direction, and waits until I give her a kiss... then she goes about her day
She does that every time she crosses my path; that's my girl!

My current crew endure kisses, but I don't think they care one way or the other. My dear little Fred would jump into my arms and hold his head under my chin until I kissed him on top of his head, then he would settle down for cuddles.

My 5 month old kitten Ronnie love kisses and cuddles, he lies on his back, in my arms and lets me kiss his nose, then when ive finished he will lie there n lick my cheek for as long as I let him, then when he gets up, as he's climbin over my shoulder, I kiss the tip of his tail, I do it (tip of tail) with all five cats if they're too slow gettin away lol

Another of mine, Boo, stands on the bannister and lowers her head n purry-meows until i kiss her head, then walks off!!

All of my kitties love receiving kisses, esp. on the head. Kuce gives us a little wink once in a while.

Each time I put my lips together about to kiss Jake, he extends his nose towards me to meet my lips in a kiss I think he just does it out of curiousity, more like "hmm I wonder what your face smells like, I might as well sniff while you're so close and making a funny face at me"... I always kiss him on the nose...

hobbes doesn't care one way or the other..
she doesn't particularly like to be held.. it's one thing if she crawls into my lap of her own accord, but i'd better not pick her up. lol.
she prefers ear scratches and headbutts to kisses though..

Cotton loves his forehead kiss. He'll sit in front of you and tilt his forehead toward you until you give him a kiss...he'll also climb on you and 'kiss' your forehead if he's feeling particularly cuddly.

Topaz will tolerate one but prefers head and chin skritches.

Precious loves to give kisses. She kisses me by licking my hand. Sometimes she'll lick my face but that is rare. Once she licked my eye lid which was closed because she was sniffing my eye. lol

Monster doesn't really like it when I kiss him. I mean, he will tolerate a kiss or two in his head, but if I try to kiss his mouth too much he will bite my chin or my nose (I think this is cuz he was away from mom too early and never learned kitty manners). Once in a while he will sniff my lips and lick them . Once or twice he over-licked and it felt like he was sanding my lips off.

Mittens, she's my little lovey girl. This cat will basically put up wit ANYTHING (besides being picked up--she HATES that) and she never bites. I always hold both sides of her head and shower her with kissies! She even lets me nose kiss her. Sometimes she will be sniffing my face and she will lick my forehead or chin. I LOVE my sandpaper kisses!

Franky will ask for one by dipping his head down and lean forward. I plant a kiss to it and he leans into it. Then I give a couple more smooches until he pulls back, only to lean in again and rub the side of his mouth over my nose. This repeats a couple times until he's had his fill.

Brady will lean his head up until he gets a kiss on the top of his head.. and you HAVE to do it at LEAST more than twice.. Otherwise he'll let ya know.

Siren like to be kissed when she is in a cuddle mood. She pushes her face and head all over my mouth especially when I first get home from work. If I kiss her on the nose or mouth she will often lick me back at the same time. She really loves when i kiss just under her chin.

But at the same time if she has switched into physco kitty mode don't put anything with in reach your not fully willing to have played with. It only takes once to know that when her eyes are dilated, her ears are moving all around and her tail is slowly flicking back and forth you keep anything fragile out of reach.

Rosalie LOVES it! If I'm out of the house for more than 30 mins when I come home she's sitting on the arm of the sofa and meows at me and stands up, when I bend down to give her love she'll rub her head against my face till I give her a kiss then she'll lick my cheek

Cole, my oldest cat will rub noses with me, but he doesn't like kissing, except once in a while I can sneak one in on his back when he's asleep and not paying me any attention.

Gabrial, my baby, will basically let me do anything to him so he gets kissed a lot, but he doesn't mind as long as I also headbutt him and also rub his tummy, but not at the same time.
