Moe and Neo have been stalking the stove for two days. I thought they were just trying to get there toys out from underneath. Well tonight I was laying in bed and I heard a scrapping sound in the wall!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I might have mice!! Granted my house isn't super clean since I started working, but I didn't think it was mice dirty!! I guess maybe because it is hot. Any I am freaked!!!! I think I want to put the house on full alert and let the kittens and snowwhite run around. UGHHHHHHHh I hear it again!! EW EW EW!!! of course dh is out!! ICK!!

Val, tell your lazy cats to get off their butts and do what thousands of years of evolution have prepared them to do.

Look outside for any holes in the wall that would let them into your walls. The hole can be as small as 1/4 inch. They usually come in through gaps around the water pipes, or dryer vents. Plug them with steel wool and patch over that with concrete, or other sealer. Unfortunally, this will seal them into the walls so they will die there.

actually when ever snowwhite used to bring me presents they look prefectly normal like they are sleeping. She does a really "nice" job. I would rather what ever is in my house, to be outside my house though. What the heck are ashton and lilly doing! they are supposed to be control them outside

Even the cleanest houses can get mice. Don't feel bad. I lived in a very old house, and even if it was clean enough to stand up to mother-in-law inspection, we would still get mice occasionally.

I have lived in 2 different houses that didn't have mice they had RATS!!! The houses were very clean and the rats were huge.

One house you could walk right up to the rats and yell and they would just sit there and look at you like you were nuts. They had no fear of people at all and they were NOT domestic rats.

We called an exterminater for the ones that got into the house. The other house had a floor furnice that caught fire and smoked the rats, in the walls, out.

I would rather have mice over rats or cockroaches any day. *SHUDDER*

Once at our old house I saw a mouse , I freaked
and cried for hours
, But you are probably wondering huh she has rats..LOL, Well I
Rats but I hate mice!!!!

And another time at the same house, there was a black bird in the wall, we used to have an infestation of starling birds in our roof and one must of dropped down the side of mums room wall. I was sleeping in Mum's bed and she was in the lounge and I heard this "scritch, scritch, scritch" at the wall. I thought it was a cat first of all but then when I heard lil squeaks , I knew it was a bird. Mum was really scared when I told her and to cut a long story short we opened the wall with a hammer and found the little bird and set it free, really frightning expereince and we had a big hole in the wall for 2 years ..

I hope it's stopped Val!

A couple of months ago, a friend of mine started hearing noises in his wall. Not mice, not rats, it was RACCOONS! They had gotten in through a roof soffit that had come off. They actually had a nest in the wall. Talk about gross!
