Veteran's Day November 11, 2009

Today is Veteran's Day in the United States. Please take a moment to reflect upon the sacrifices made by those who serve- past, present, and future.

No mission too difficult, No sacrifice too great, Duty First!

I know there are a lot of people on this site who are from other countries. I would love to hear about how your respective countries honor their veterans.

They are going through the fallen soldiers pictures on the news It's so tragic.

It is called Rememberance Day here.... There are generally parades, or gatherings of veterans, armed forces, and at schools. We wear our poppy with pride, to honor those lost for us....and at 11am we observe a moment of silence.
