Hi all! Wondered if anyone has the same problem and maybe a suggestion....The place where I work, there are quite a few stray kitties outside that myself and another lady feed. During the winter is our problem because we don't know how to find a warm place for them. Has anyone ever constructed anything or has any ideas?
Thanks so much in advance,
Ciera

I have built several. This is one of the easier (to me) to construct.

I spray painted mine a dark color to help absorb heat. There are several people that have pictures posted of shelters they built. I will try to find them.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Thank you for wanting to help these kitties!

Are you also trapping them and having them spayed and neutered? You'll have more on your hands than you can handle soon enough. !!

Would you like links to see if there are any orgs in the area that can help? Or links to spay/neuter clinics if you end up having to do it yourselves?

We really don't recommend that you feed feral/stray cats unless you're also going to have them sterilized. They multiply too fast, especially if you help keep them healthy. I know it sounds cruel - but which is worse? Younger deaths so they can't breed as frequently? Or dozens of homeless cats that also breed dozens more homeless, unwanted cats?

I don't know where "BG" Ohio is, but if you PM me your zip code, I can help with the search.
