Hey, my name is Lisa and I'm a 24-year-old part-time college student with a full-time job that consists of answering the phones for a phone company.
I have two cats, and they are pretty old these days but I still love them to pieces. Since they were both strays orginally they are pretty skittish around new people and places even to this day. They usually settle down into a new home pretty fast because my family moved alot. Both of my cats are inside cats who enjoy hiding under the bed when a stranger is around.
^Here is Isabell (Isie for short) who just turned 17. She was a stray that hung around my grandmothers house. There is lots of strays in my grandmother's neighboorhood but, Isie stood out because she was trying to eat my friends hamster in his garage. So we caught her, and I convinced mom to let me keep her using my 8-year-old puppy eyes and pleading. Isie is also the alpha cat in this house for sure. They have thier little spats even to this day but Isie seems to win despite hardly doing anything.
^Next we have EG. He is just the sweetest cat. EG was also a stray, he was caught along with his brothers and sisters by a man named Chris. He then proceeded to put an ad in the local free newspaper labeled "Free Kittens". Apparently these 4-week-old kittens (litter of 4) were running around without a mommy kitty because she was killed by some kids in the neighboorhood. We were looking for a new kitty friend for Isie so we called him up and he said he had one kitten left. We ran over and there he was this tiny kitten cowering behind the toliet. EG was the only kitten in the litter with tabby markings, and Chris said he was having a hard time finding someone who wanted the tabby cat out of a litter with 3 pure white kittens. I found that strange because he was cute too.. well I just love all cats I think. Anyway EG is now approaching 12 years and he is pretty loving.
^Windowsills are awesome
So there we go, little introduction to our family.
