Callus

Geoffery has some sort of a callus on his back right paw pad, it is white and hard and is on one of his toes.

Is this bad? Should I be worried at all? It doesn't seem to bother him but I've never seen anything like this before.

Take a look at this thread - is what you are seeing similar to what is pictured there?

One of my cats, Allen, has these on his front paws (he's the kitty in my siggy). It's kinda shocking when you first find them - I had all kinds of crazy things go through my head - but they're really not all that rare and as long as they're not catching on things or causing the cat any difficulty, they're not a problem.

So I can just leave it or do I need to get it removed by the vet?
