Morning peeps!

I am running late this morning...slept in a little. Off to work in a bit though.

DH is at school late tonight so I am gong to hit the gym. Not sure what else though..probably veg around here.

Anyhoo, we had a great weekend, it was beautiful weather and still is going to be nice today

As we get closer to Christmas, we get busier and busier (Toys R Us, after all). This week I'm working locals, which means I'm available for whatever needs to be done, from picking up containers from the rail yard and returning them, to delivering local backhauls, to picking up rental trailers (we don't have enough of our own for the Christmas rush).

Long days (as much as 16 hours on 1 day, 12-14 normally), but very good pay.

Hello All!!

Like Mrs. Nat I enjoyed the Indian Summer weather this weekend. In fact, I'm going outside in a bit as the temps are very warm for this time of year (56F/13C). But temps are going to slowly drop throughout the week.

Lots of stuff to do this week; 2nd coat of paint in the bathroom, tidy up the annuals I am overwintering in the basement. But the potatoes in the root cellar as a prep for bringing in firewood for the winter. Want to squeeze in some Christmas shopping too!

My parents fly back Friday night but earlier in the day I'm heading up north to cut christmas greens in our woods before deer gun season starts.

My hands are a bit scratched up and sore from all the yardwork I've been doing lately-perhaps a dip in the hot wax might feel good tonite!

Getting busy at my pt job too with the holiday season approaching.

Good morning.

Kind of grey here this morning, but not too cold. I'm off to work in a bit for what I know will be a crazy day since I spoke with 3 of my coworkers yesterday and they're all sick so we're going to be short staffed.

I've picked up my knitting again as well as having had my next applique class this past weekend, so I have plenty of plenty of projects laying around the living room at the moment that I'd love to stay here and work on...not really incentive to get my butt to work on a Monday.

Anyway, no real plans other than get through the day and stop by the gym tonight.

Morning All!!!

Well the clouds are back and it looks like rain. Oh well what can you do, however I have certainly enjoyed the little piece of summer we had over the last couple of days.

Not up to much out shopping with my sister for an hour this morning. She is a little on the stiff side from a fall she took the other day. Poor girl I think I am going to have wrap her in bubble-wrap because she is always getting hurt I think a little black cloud must follow her around.

Now that I am home I think I will do some cleaning this afternoon, scrub my kitchen and bathroom. I should vacuum my couch and chair as well the kids are kind of shedding so they do need it.

The kitties are good Linus and Pixie are chasing each other around the house and Sassy is sitting in the window watching them.

Good Morning all

Its getting colder here

closer to normal temps. I have class this morning and this afternoon. Got horses to ride, really wish I didnt have to ride but I didnt ride this weekend.... I want to make a special gift for my grandpa for veterans day on wednesday but I am not sure of what to do and in such short time. I already sent him a card, but I would like to do something more.
Its diabetes awareness month!!!!
