Molly is absolutely positively *the* most helpful kitty when it comes to basic household repairs.
For instance, today a 10' high ladder was set up to the skylights to clean them & re-paint. Molly, of course, felt it a necessity to test to be sure the ladder would hold weight.
She also rubs her head on everything, so figured while she was monkeying around on the ladder - she might as well rub on it
The ladder was moved to the skylight over the carpet, so an old shower curtain liner was laid down. Molly wanted to be sure there were no monsters under there to tip the ladder!
Oh I don't know if we'd be safe to do repairs without her.
(And she doesn't like to be picked up, so getting her off the ladder proved difficult!)
