So, thinking about high school and all, I started wondering what was the theme of your senior prom? And how was it? Ours was "Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi:
Strange song, I know. But for once the cheerleaders weren't in charge of the prom so my little group of headbanger friends planned it. It was a blast! Just for the record, this was the only prom I went too and just went with a good friend who I dated for a while but ended up being gay. But, we had a ball! Afterwards we went house skipping to about 4 houses where the parents had snacks (no alcohol!), watched the sun rise and went to the final house for a huge breakfast spread.

So, how was your prom and what was the song?

My prom was actually very lame because my Date didn't put out enough to kiss me better than he would have kissed his grandma at the end of our date...

My best friend didn't have a date so she also followed us around and generally dogged us as a third wheel all night long... =/ Talk about not fun at all... She is probably the reason why I didn't get a good kiss goodnight, because when he dropped me off at home (she was spending the night) she just kind of sat there and STARED like she was waiting for me to get out.

Our Prom Song was "Another Brick In The Wall" by Pink Floyd... Which I happen to think was a pretty BAD choice
.

Our Prom Colors were Pink/Silver (Gag!) and the Flower was a Chrysanthamum.

Every time I think of Prom I am reminded of how genuinely slow and dumb my friend was... and sometimes I can't believe I am still friends with her because she still infuriorates me.

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Ummm, I can't remember, lol. I remember going to Chicago and walking around the city afterwards though.

That reminds me, I have to give the guy I was with a hard time about that choice. Srsly? Walking around in HEELS after dancing around in HEELS?

But that's better than my Junior prom. The guy I had been dating for 2.5 years and I broke up a week before and he refused to go with me. His wife still gives him the evil eye over that one.

About the only thing I remember is the mud and the rain - it rained and rained. Cleared off, sunny and when it was time to leave, it rained again. Just picture a bunch of girls, half with toss curls (old hairstyle, hair pinned up, ringlets/curls comring from the top of the head) and the other half with bouffants, all wearing long dresses, and all damp. Hair limp, dresses limp, shoes sodden. The other thing I remember was the blasted turkey they fed us - I never much liked turkey, and still don't. Can't remember the theme or anything else. Just too long ago

I have no idea what our theme song was. The dance was actually a fairly insignificant part of the night and I think we only spen an hour or so there. We went out to dinner afterward and then we had a big get together at a friend's house. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily and I ran my parents' car off the road, so that tended to dominate the night.

My Senior prom was IN THE AIR TONIGHT by Phil Collins (1987). I went with the sister of my youth group leader. I wasn't well versed in dating as I had never dated anyone in high school. However, my girlfriends senior prom the next year was a blast! I don't remember the song but I do remember slow dancing and kissing and continuing to kiss after it was over. I looked over at my best friend and he was just shaking his head. My girlfriend (she asked me to prom before we started going out) had just wanted someone to go to prom with, but we ended up dating for 4 years...

I can't believe I already forgot what our song was!! I graduated high school in 2007. I just remember it was by Boyz II Men and I really didn't like the song, but I can't remember the title.
Prom was okay..It was at the Westin peactree plaza hotel in downtown Atlanta, and I really liked the place. I remember it being very classy with the limo and the hotel room and being dressed all glamorous but I don't remember having a lot of fun.. I have far better memories from hanging out with my good friends with pizza and popcorn watching a movie..Lol i'm boring.
