Morning All!!!

Sunny with a few clouds this morning. Looks like it is shaping up to be a nice day.
My stomach is a bit on the grumbly, growly side today, am trying to remember what I ate yesterday that bothered it.

Not a whole lot planned for today, am planning on having a web chat with my oldest sister who lives out in B.C. at 2 P.M. . That's always fun, she is going to have her grandson Mason with her today so it will give me a chance to see him.

The kitties are good this morning all three are sitting in the window watching the squirrels run back and forth across the hydro lines.

We're going to have an Indian summer day here today - it's supposed to be in the upper 70's and sunny. I'll find something to do outside - probably start to take down the nasty wire fence now that all the poison ivy has died for the year.

Morning,

It looks like we're going to have a nice day here. Sunny with a high in the 60's. I'm going to get showered up here in a few minutes and then I'm going to head over to my parents' house to do laundry and eat dinner. I'll probably watch a little football with my dad while I'm over there. After dinner, I'm going to come back home and probably watch a movie or read for a bit.

I slept in until noon!

A good start to catching up on some of the sleep I so badly need.

Gorgeous day outside! Going to run some errands and do a little cleaning around the house. Need to vaccuum!

I love sleeping til noon... so lazy. I woke up around 9:30 today though.

Not much excitement for this weekend... going to take the bottles and cans to the recycling center and get a few bucks. Then a bit of shopping. Oh I want to make a soup I think this weekend. Broccoli cheese something or other. Yeah!

ALso we will be keeping an eye on Genever to see if she is scratching this BALD SPOT on her head which we discovered this morning. Doesn't look sore or scratched, it's just like the fur got ripped out or something, but we haven't found any clumps of fur anywhere.. it's always something with that little girl.

a cool stormy day here in Portland. I really do love the rain.

I am trying to work on a new novel for NaNoWriMo... need to catch up on my word count. JoJo is curled up next to me on the couch here... her chin on my (good) knee. I'll be hosting a write-in for other local NaNo writers at 5... in the lounge just off the lobby of my building... nice quiet place to write. No pressure to buy food or drink like in a coffee shop. and for those of us who're broke, a place like that is perfect.

Off to try and boost my word count...

Its a beautiful day here. We went out for breakfast with friends..now we are puttering around here. I am doing chores and Josh is studying.

Later we are going to watch a movie!

It was a beautiful cool day here. We got our hair cut today, then went out to lunch. After that my sister and I went to an art show by a couple of friends of ours and I got a beautiful picture of a Raven plus a couple of things for the one I'm SS for.

I am sooooo tired. DS has been rolling on his belly(not new) all week in his sleep then he moans all night long. I keep getting up and rolling him back over. DH normally wakes on the weekends to give me a break but he slept through it all.

Later this afternoon I finished up my stock piling at Acme. They owe me $7 tomorrow for a mistake. I was very pleased with our purchases and we won't need paper towels, tissues, toilet paper or cookies for months.

Mom is at a late night party for her friends son's 40th birthday.

Tomorrow is my Rite Aid run

We have to get DS some more PJ's and winter shirts.

I spent all day today with Cody trying to find a Dentist that is open on Saturday to take an emergency appointment. I am fairly certain that his tooth is infected and that his wisdom tooth needs to come out NOW.

I'm so scared for him! I know he is in a great deal of oral pain, but unfortunately although we drove all the way out to Auburn Hills, we never found anyone and it looks like we will have to wait until Monday.

I just pray that the infection stays localized until we can get him some antibiotics!


If anyone has any ideas on what we can do tomorrow to help, I'm up for anything at this point, I'll drive anywhere to get him the medical attention he needs.

What about taking him to the ER. They can at least give him something for the pain and put him on antibiotics until he get's a chance to see a dentist.
Not sure however if the system is differnt in the states but I know that is what we do here in Canada because most dentist aren't open on weekends.

oh my gosh how scary!! Make sure he takes his temperature often because if he has a fever then things are very serious...Lots of vibes coming your way.. update us if you can.

an update for my evening. I held our write in for NaNoWriMo... I was in the mood for pizza so I found a place that delivers to my area... not many pizza places in my neighborhood. They offer six kinds of sauce alone... the veggie pizza we ordered (because one girl is vegetarian) was amazing. I am in love with their pizza.

The evening was a success. I got closer to my word count goal and had a good evening with friends and excellent pizza. The perfect end to a cool rainy day.
