OMG, Finally it's FRIDAY!!!

I am so tired. We finally called bylaw on our neighbours under us. They are always so noisy! Anyway, bylaw can't go into apartmet buildings because they are not equipped after dark. They are going to talk to him today and give him a warning though. Next time, he is getting a ticket!

I am going to bed early tonight for sure, I am starved for a good sleep.

Off to work in a bit, and no real plans for the weekend. Out for brekkie tomorrow with friends, trying a new church Sunday. We shall see.

You all have a good one!

G'morning.

I'm still tired, but not feeling too bad today. I'm not sure if DH is going to work today or not. He seems to be ok for the first part of the day, then goes downhill pretty fast during the afternoon. I think he should stay home for now, since he can work at home.

My kids have a day off school today.... Maybe we'll go do some xmas shopping later.

Have a good day folks.

Morning,

Well, today is Friday. I have to give my proposal to my PhD committee today at 1. Hopefully there will be nothing to it. I have a good handle on what I'm going to say, but there is a lot to explain. If all goes well, I'll get the signatures and walk the paperwork over to the graduate office. Then the only thing left for me before presenting the dissertation (except maybe writing it
) will be to meet with the thesis advisor sometime early next semester.

The bad news is that since I chose not to buy a parking sticker this year I may end up getting a ticket down on campus. It's a calculated risk, though. I did the math and figured out that even if I get a parking ticket every time I go to campus between now and graduation it would still be cheaper than buying a parking pass would have been.
When these guys come calling for alumni donations, I'm going to remind them about all the crazy fees they charge.

After the proposal, I'm going to swing by the package store and pick up a couple of bottles of wine to celebrate.
That's going to be all the work I do for tonight. I'm going to enjoy this weekend because after this I have to get busy on the dissertation proper and the madness that entails.

Morning All

Wow hoo the sun is actually shining here today. It is cold but that's okay.

Have a few errands to do stop by doctor's office to pick up some paperwork, the health food store and maybe head over to walmart to do some shopping.

Afterwards I am coming home and just finishing up a couple of chores that need to be done.

The kitties are sitting in the window right now also enjoying the sunny weather.

Everyone have a great day.

Happy Friday!!!

It's a short day at work today, but it should be pretty busy. Hoping to have a little time at work to get some much need computer issues fixed as well as some paperwork. We shall see. Oh and we're going to take the sutures out of my little stray Lacy today. Then...no idea what I'm going to do with her!!

Then Josh and I are going to the fair tonight! Mmmmm, fair food. I'm salivating already,
.

Everybody have a wonderful Friday!

Good Morning!

Well my papa was discharged yesterday afternoon, but they do not know what was wrong, they are just giving him a different kind of insulin to see how it works, cross your fingers that is all!! My grandpa is a true hero in my eyes, I mean the man fought in WWII, developed bad knees, diabetes, 8-9 blocked arteries and this other issue and the man cant be brought down, he has stayed strong and by God this man is amazing!

I have classes today, horses, and work tonight until midnight
. I hate working the night shifts, becuase I have to get up early the next day and lose a lot of sleep!! Its going to be in the 60s-70s today, farely nice out, hopefully not too warm. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning!

I'm so glad it's friday - this week seems to have gone on forever! I'm just poking at my to-do list at work. I have a quilting class tomorrow, which should be fun since I'm actually prepared for it. (The last one my mom neglected to mention that I should have had some prep work done before the class so I was way behind from the start.
) There was a bit of snow on the ground and I had to scrap the windows of the car this morning so I think we're well on our way to winter. Work is quiet. Fridays usually are so I'm just hoping it's a peaceful day and I can go to bed early tonight.

Have a good one, everyone!

I have been preparing for my big shopping trip today at Acme
Yes I am a coupon nut. I hope I can get everything on my list. It's a bit chilly outside but it's only a 5min walk from door to door.

DH wants to grill again this weekend. Mom has a party tomorrow. I just want to sleep. LOL

Have a great weekend everyone! Stay Healthy!

Nothing exciting today. I've been moping around all week, mourning Smudge, and trying to deal with his death. Thankfully, I have my 6 other cats, and the 4 fosters to care for, which helps a bit (the kittens are so fun to play with!). Went to work, came home, and cleaned, chatted on the phone with a friend I haven't seen for awhile. Bought the foster babies a nice faux-cheetah print bed --really a huge pillow--and they love it. I plan to put the quarantine room back together, and thoroughly clean it--whether the foster babies like it or not!

DH is going away tomorrow for a reenactment. Due to Smudge being sick and dying earlier this week, I didn't have time to prepare for it, so I'll stay home. I'm not in the mood to reenact anyway. I think I'll de-clutter the attic. Cleaning takes my mind off Smudge. I find cleaning therapeutic when I'm stressed.
