My prayers go out to you that you find Pepper soon. Once you get him home again, please put a collar on him with a nametag with your phone number on it.

Pepper has been found!!! He was a few apartments down. They told me that he was knocking on their porch door and they let him in. I am so relieved! I can't put it into words how grateful I am for the vibes that you all sent out-- obviously they worked!!

A little side note on the collar- he has a collar with his name and my number. The problem is that he will NOT leave a collar on! He has it off within a few hours now even though he always had a collar with a bell when he was a kitten. He was always my little adventurous kitty and I wanted to know where he was so I put a bell on him. Now that he's older, he has figured out that these collars will breakaway if he puts enough pressure on it, so he does. I absolutely will not put anything but a breakaway collar on him because I am gone for a signifigant portion of the day and I would never forgive myself if he hurt himself because I put the wrong kind of collar on him.

Now for the taking down of the posters tomorrow!

I read your thread title twice, before the good news sunk in.

I cant find the thread I posted in about my missing cat so I will post it here..Let me first say how happy I am for you that you got your cat back. Mine went missing on July 20th..I did everything, the posters, called shelters, my vet, walked the neighborhood, everything I possibly could..even tried a live trap as a neighbor said a cat matching mine's description had been hanging around her house..well the trap worked but it wasnt my cat..I kept leaving the overhead garage door open and would put out food and water and it would get eaten nightly..so I decided to try the trap again for about 10 days and nothing..it was at that point that I pretty much gave up because now it was over 2 months..

This morning I got a call from my animal hospital and they have my cat..A lady in the neighboring subdivision had been feeding for over a month but kept him outside..she had a friend who wanted a cat so she took mine to the vet this morning...they scanned him for a chip and mine name came up..turns out he is in very good shape except for a case of the fleas which they are treating and surprisingly he has only lost 1/2 pound..I get to go pick him up in about 3 hours and I cant wait..

For those of you whose cats go missing, dont ever give up hope like I did. No, they all wont return but I never in a million years would have thought that mine would..so you never know..
