Weepy eye

Hi Guys,

I adopted a kitten 5 months ago from the RSPCA and he quickley developed cat flu. That was treated and he is doing well. But the reason I am writing is recently I have noticed his eyes are weeping similarily to when he was at the peak of his cat flu.

Should I be worried?

He is probably a carrier of the herpes virus, ans is going through another URI...
Watch him closely, Call the vet and ask if you should take him in.
Discuss with him if you should give him L-Lysine; it is a supplement that stops the herpes virus on it tracks, helping to prevent URI on cats that carry the virus, helping them to be healthy. When they do have an URI (cat cold, or "Flu", as you are calling), it is much shorter, and less intense. It has helped my Bugsy tremendously; I swear by it, and so does my vet.
DO talk to your vet.

Another option - I know this brand, but I never used it, so I can't review it... It is a good brand though.

my sooty does that hes always done it since 6 weeks old its only like a tear every so often and vet cant find anything wrong with him

I had similar issues with reddish-brown tears which would respond to Cipro drops given for cat flu, but then reappear after the treatments were over. I eventually had success with Terramycin ointment which resolved the weeping.
