Miracle Time! Rags is OK!

When the vet got ready to do the exploratory surgery today the lump had mysteriously disappeared! I felt it myself and two other vets had felt it on Saturday and Monday, but today it was gone! They did an x-ray and everything was normal. They did blood work and checked for FIV and leukemia. All normal except for some anemia. She is going home tonight with meds for the anemia and she'll continue with the antibiotics. Weird, huh!

It probably was in the bowels, but she hasn't pooped since Saturday. I told them that at the vet and they said that it was because she was hardly eating. They said be patient and she will start to poop again soon. I sure hope so. I hope she has pooped by tomorrow. She ate pretty good yesterday and she has eaten some tonight, too.

It worked! She pooped!
I mixed her antibiotics and vitamins into her food today and she ate every scrap, then I gave her more and she ate all of that , too. She is definitely on the mend. But what a mystery!

Oh, what wonderful news - truly, you must feel as though your whole world lit up with that news.
