Mystery Anniversary

Anyone ever do a "mystery" anniversary. Where one of the couple plans the anniversary celebration and the other one has no clue as to where they are going?

I'm planning one for hubby and I - he has no clue as to what we are doing. Only told him that a day or so before, he would know where he is to drive but not where we are going.

It's driving him crazy not even knowing what direction to go. Only told him a few clues:

1. Its something neither one of us has done before.
2. Its about 1 1/2 hrs from where we live.

No, I have never done that before. But it sounds fun. Our anniversary is New Year's Day we are always a bit limited since it's right after Christmas and we have 4 kids not including the fur babies.

Our 8th yr anniversary is not till February 14th - so its a little ways off right now. After we do it, then I'll have to post what it was. Hubby may read some of this stuff in here and don't want to give away the secret

Okay that really does sound like fun - what a cool idea!

2010 is our 5th anniversary so that might be fun to try.

Good for you. When I was with Arthur Murray, they called such excursions, "Destination Unknown Parties." Drive him nuts!
