Can someone make a recommendation for a vet in the Rock Hill, SC or Charlotte, NC area?

I'm looking for someone who would have some special qualifications (nutritional expertise or "internist") for helping us diagnose and treat chronic loose stool problems with 2 cats.

Thanks ...

Have you contacted this place for information?
http://www.carolinavet.com/

I'd like to ask you, from the list you posted not long ago, have you ever kept the kitties on one single food for any length of time?

The list:
Wet foods: Instinct Prairie Homestyle stews, Taste of the Wild, Meow Mix Wholesome Goodness, and Fancy Feast pate
Raw food: Natureâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s Variety Rabbit & Venison
Dry food: Natural Balance Duck & Green Pea

I struck paydirt by Googling, "feline specialist." Good luck!

I just moved from Charlotte and have 2 Cornish Rexes that have had chronic issues with diarrhea and loose stools. They had giardia as kittens and when they get stressed they have loose stools.

For us the answer was adding probiotics and omega-3 to the food, and using feliway in the home (stress was a big component... theirs and mine... if I was stressed they had a problem. So I work on reducing my own stress)

Dr. Widay and Dr. Davis at Monroe Road Animal Hospital (704-996-3697) are not specialists but were willing to go the extra mile to help solve the problem.

and if you go tell them that Gigi and Moxie sent you!

May I ask what brands of probiotics and omega-3 you added to their food and what quantities?
