So you've picked up that I love music?
1.- Wich one is your favourite Genre of Music?
Just about anything except Country/Western and Rap. I am a huge fan of the Blues, Cajun/Zydeco, Reggae and Reggae offshoots (like Ska).
2.- How many Cd´s do you have?
We must have about 700 CD's in our collection. DH buys individual CD's and I buy the collections (box sets). Most of our Christmas presents to each other involve CD's.
3.- Wich one is your favourite singer Male?
Do I really have to pick one? I can't say that I have a favorite singer, as I listen to music more for the instruments than vocals. It's the entire band that pulls it together for me rather than the singer.
4.- Wich one is your favourite singer Female?
Same answer as male singers, but I will say that Joan Baez's voice from years ago used to send chills up my spine. Listen to Diamond's and Rust on a good stereo system some time and tell me you don't get the shivers.
5.- Have you ever to listened at http://www.rippingtons.com/ ?????
I haven't, and since I'm at work right now, I can't listen until I get home tonight. I'll jump on later and respond to this one.
6.- Do you have a CD collection? ( I mean for example all Cd´s from a determinate artist???
I have nearly complete collections of a number of artists: The Who, Los Lobos, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Southern Culture on the Skids, The Ramones, Little Feet, Muddy Waters....
You might notice that I've named my cats after some of my favorite artists. I did have a family of feral kittens one time that were named John, Paul, George and Ringo. Ringo turned out to be a girl.
7.- Have you ever to participated in some Concert of your favourite artist?
I've see a lot of concerts in my time, and of the ones that I've listed in #6, the only ones I never got to see were The Beatles, Bob Marley and the Ramones.
8.- Do you have any preference to listen a Radio FM station???
Growing up in Chicago, I was a die-hard fan of WXRT radio. In Kansas City, there are 4 public radio stations, 2 of which play some interesting music in between their public service shows. KKFI is my favorite, and both DH and I donated money to them in return for being DJ's on that station. We know most of the DJ's at that station, and all but 1 volunteer their time.

I'll have to listen at home. I'm not a big fan of smooth jazz personally. I prefer Big Band jazz era over the current smooth jazz.
9.- In your own opinion wich one is better, a CD original from an artist or an MP3 collage of music without nothing of information?...
Absolutely the original CD. While we have our entire CD collection copied onto our home computer in MP3 format, we only put that on when we have company and don't want to mess with picking CD's.
And I will add that even better than the original CD is an autographed CD. We actually have a couple dozen autographed CD's in our collection. The big score was the New Orleans Preservation Hall band and Los Lobos autographs. We also have autographed show posters.
10.- Do you play some Musical instrument?
I took piano lessons as a child but don't play nearly as often as I would like. That's on my list of things to do when I retire at the end of the year. I own an accordian and have tried to teach myself how to play, but you would be surprised at how complex that instrument is.
And while in New Orleans one time, I wandered into a bar on Bourbon Street where there was a local Zydeco band playing. They were getting people up from the audience to play the washboard and I volunteered. The washboard had hoops on top so it could rest on top of your shoulders, and you play it with spoons. The people before me played around with it and got polite applause. I strapped on the board, grabbed the spoons and started to boogie down on that board. I got a standing ovation from the entire bar. I'm convinced that I would make a great percussionist.
