I don't like all these rules...

I don't want to sound like a 'debbie-downer', but it seems like taking part in this site takes an awful lot of work. Isn't it a little much to have to post 700 times and be a member for 120 days in order to put your picture next to your name??? Just a thought. I love these forums but it would be nice to be able to show off your baby without so many prerequisites. Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm.

Most forums have rules about certain amounts of posts to be able to do whatever, age limits, etc.
You can show off your babies all you want, step on into the Fur Pictures forum and post away!

Well, welcome to the the forum, let's see your babies, we love pictures... feel free to post them any time to show them off!
You can also create pages for your cats, and the pictures will show on the right side of your name, just not as an avatar... (like my three cats, see it?)
This is an awesome forum, and I hope you can see it through this detail.
Anyways, welcome to TCS.

You can always get a premium subscription and get all of that without having the posts...
To me, having a picture by my name has never been a big deal. You can show off your babies in the section of the forum for pictures!!

Participating in the lounge, specifically thread games, is a quick way to build up post count.

That's quite a first post.

Why don't you look around a bit and get to know us a little more? Post in New Cats in the Block, introduce yourself, and post some pictures of your cats. Soon you will become a part of our community and the posts will add right up.

Welcome to The Cat Site.

You are welcome to show off your baby in fur pics or with a signature picture under your posts

You will be surprised how quickly those posts add up
