Morning All!!

Today's question is this:

Do you have a favorite type of dessert?

My favorite has always been Black Forest Cake, or Squares. I love the combination of Cherries and Chocolate.

Hmm, chocolate cream pie (with lots of whipped cream) or chocolate truffle cake.

Count me in on the chocolate pie! My favorite was always Baker's Square French Silk.
I can make a mean chocolate cream pie from scratch, but that pie, Oh my goodness. My brother used to be a GM for the company so on holidays and family gatherings he would bring pie, usually a variety, but that one was the one everyone headed right to.

In general, pie is my favorite, and my favorite changes based on what is in season throughout the year. Right now my favorite is pumpkin pie. I'm going to make one today, and I'm going to make it from a real pumpkin. It's so much more interesting than one made with canned pumpkin.

I have so many favorites so I can't just name one...

Cheesecake with strawberries or cherries
Stawberry pie with whipped cream
Chocolate cream pie with whipped cream
Boisenberry pie with whipped cream (a favorite since I was about 18 months old)
Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting
Banana nut cake with cream cheese frosting
Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

Sigh..... I love dessert!

I like baclava because it's a desert my family always makes on family dinners and christmas and thanksgiving..
but I can't have just one favorite, I also love chocolate cheese cake, pretty much any variety of cheese cake from the cheesecake factory, except for the plain variety,
boston cream pie, turtle pie, red velvet cake, flan, tiramisu... I could go on and on

Homemade Cherry Pie or any flavour of Bisquite (not the correct spelling). I love bisquite but it takes a fair bit to make it and makes a big batch so I rarely do it except for family gatherings.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
It changes for me - though involving chocolate is consistent!

If it's not some kind of dark chocolate cake, sometimes it's key lime pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, or something involving blueberries.

It is simply impossible for me to choose just one! I LOVE to bake!

My absolute favorite is strawberry swirl cheesecake. However my other leading favorites include French Silk Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, German Chocolate Cake, my sugar cookies w/ cream cheese icing, my Lemon Loaf with lemon-glaze icing, My aunt's grape salad
, and my sister's Monica's "better than sex cake....the coconut/pinepple one...not the chocolate kind
)
