My cat stayed at a cattery recently where she befriended a kitty, the mascot there. They liked each other a lot. When I left, she rubed her nose on the kitten's face
Once at home, a few hours later, she was meowing like a kitten herself, talking to me in this baby language, very high pitch. I could not believe it! She had adapted herself to the kitten's language, a situation similar to when humans talk to young children, having themselves higher voices. This lasted a few days. So cute!
