Morning All!!!

Of course it's Halloween question for the day:

Do you get a lot of kids stopping by for treats?

I normally don't being up on the third floor with the entrance at the back of the house most kids don't bother coming up. However I do know my downstairs neighbors usually get between 100-150.

No, out in the country and no kids nearby except the neighbor's great granddaughter who might stop by. I do know one cousin is bringing his toddler by today so I made sure to save some of the candy I bought.

We generally see between 30-50. I'll be interested in how many we get this year, though, since Halloween is usually on a work day and we miss the first wave of kids because they come by before we're home.

It's my day off, but I traded a half day with a guy at work who is on schedule tonight. He's got 2 small kids and wanted to take them Trick or Treating, so I'm going to work half his shift for him.

Then come home and just relax with the tribe.

I don't know. We've only lived here a little over a year and I got called in to work last Halloween because I had a boss who somehow didn't realize she'd have to take her kids tricker or treating on Halloween.
I guess I'll see how many pass through tonight.

It's not safe for kiddos to trick-or-treat in my neighborhood, so we never get any. Not planning on it this year eithor. We're going to my sister's house for a little Halloween/dinner party there instead.
They should get some trick-or-treaters there!

We're in an apartment building with a coded entry so we don't get any kids.
I prefer to keep the candy for myself!

My building's 38 floors, with 12 units to a floor, and we have lots of kids in the building. I love it. They're all very inventive with their costumes.

I was going to get a witch's hat and a mask to wear tonight when I opened the door, but I didn't want to scare the really wee ones.

I had to buy more candy this morning because.....well.....you know.....
I broke my own rule and bought some earlier this week.....and.....well, never mind.

We don't get any kids where I live, sometimes a couple may come around but usually none at all. I think parents don't allow their children trick or treating much with a lot of stuff going around.

Everyone have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Being an apartment complex, you would think we would get a lot of kids, but we don't. This year, we are going to the Harvest Festival at our church

There are plenty of trick or treaters here in this tiny town but we don't hand out candy. And instead of my kids trick or treating, we have a little Halloween party. We make an entire day of it. Even in small towns, trick or treating isn't that safe any more.

Just had my first one - the neighbor's great granddaughter who was dressed as a ladybug. She got two peanut butter cups.

I ate 3 myself.

That's sweet of you, Mike.

There aren't many kids in our neighbourhood, but we're ready for the few. If we get a dozen that will be a good year.

It's been a quiet evening except for one lot of trick or treaters, who I didn't answer the door to...seeing as I haven't got any candy to give at the moment

The rest of the town have been celebrating at the sea front with a carnival, huge bonfire and firework displays. That's where most of the kids are...thank goodness
