The condo building I live in is being re-roofed and the skylights are being replaced. The cats's pans are mostly in the master bath and there is a skylight in that bathroom. So I moved the pans and keep the door closed.while the work is being done. ( I am not living there right now - had to move in w/Mom to look after her.)

Two of the pans are in the large stall shower so that there is at least some room in the bathroom to maneuver. So normally, the sliding door on the shower is open. But I decided to close it.

I was in and out of that BR to wash out some things and then went to the hallway bath to clean litter pans. My foster boy Ghost - timid little Snowshoe mix - likes to keep me company. However.... he trotted off and the next thing I know he is crying his head off and calling me.... from that master bath. Eeee-eeehhhhh! Reh! Reee-eeeHHHHH!!!!! (As close to a meow as you will get from him.)

Well of course I have to investigate. Hmmmmm.....
I pick him up. I cuddle him... etc. Put him down and walk out. Ghost - goes back into the bathroom and starts yelling for me again.

THIS time - I look in there and he is sitting in front of the closed shower door... looks at door... looks at me... looks at door.. looks at me. Finally, dumb hoomin gets it... he is telling me that this is not right, that something is different. So I go over and open the shower door. And off he goes. His work is DONE! Sheesh!

I think it's cute he had to call me to "fix" the door!!!

Ghost is such a sweet little guy! He had to let you know that something was wrong. It was just a shower door this time, but you never know when he'll notice something really important. I mean, as important as the shower door being closed.
