Petsafe and Cat Mate feeders

They seem to be the exact same feeders but received wildly different ratings. I want to buy the better product but do not want to pay more if the feeders are essentially the same product sold under different names. Can anyone confirm?

Okay the current Cat Mate price is slightly wacky but recently I've seen it a few dollars more than the Petsafe.

You should get the automatic feeder that spins up to three times a day and holds a small bag of cat food. I think the brand is pet mate....It's black with a clear food container. It's not much more than those and you could easily feed one cat for an entire month on that. It lasts a little over a week for us and we have four cats eating out of it. If you get it from a farm store it's about $10 less than what a pet store sells it. We've had ours for 3 years with no issues. We've changed the batteries once! You can choose how many cups of food per spin and up to three spins a day-you even set the times you want. I think ours is set at 3/4 cup three times a day if I remember right. They can get some kibble out if they try hard enough.....Stuart......
