Lets talk pizza! I want to know what you would consider the best tricked out, to die for, mouth watering, scrumptious tasting pizza ever?

I love deep dish pizza with sausage, bacon, onions, lots and lots of cheese. The thicker the better.

Guess I'm going to have to order pizza tonight.

Our fav is canadian bacon and pineapple. If given the choice, that is what I pick
Also if you throw on mushrooms - even better

My favorite would probably be a meat lovers with extra cheese, but since that is so incredibly bad for you, our latest favorite is thin crust with spinach, garlic and chicken.

Not a huge pizza fan but when I do eat it I have a tendency to go more for the veggie style. Mushroom, green Peppers, onions, and olives. I do make a great Chicken Caesar Pizza at home, I buy the crusts premade, then add Renee's Caesar Dressing as the sauce, sliced Chicken, bacon bits, and mushrooms. Lots of Mozza cheese plus either Parm or Asiago Cheese sprinkled on it as well....mmmmmmmm

There's no place like home
I have to admit that I was born and raised in Chicago, so was totally weaned on pizza.

My favorite is stuffed vegetarian. Since you can't buy it where I live now, I have to make it myself. It's almost like a pot pie but not exactly. It goes something like this:

Layer the following:
Home made crust (I just use a good bread recipe)
Roma tomatoes
Fresh mushrooms
Onions
Green peppers
Cheese, cheese and more cheese
Another layer of crust
Pizza sauce (home made of course)
Maybe more veggies
More cheese, then top it with more cheese

Mmmm, love a good pizza! We usually get a thin crust one, either deluxe with everything or spinach and chicken.
The best pizza I ever ate was made by my friend on the BBQ. She made a thin crust one, very simple with garlic, anchovies, tomatoes and cheese. Soooo good!

Check out Sicilian Express at Flying Wedge (click in the bottom left corner and the picture and description will change), and add to it artichokes and peppadew. It's the house fave and it comes on thin crust. Exceedingly tasty!

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
First pizza I ever really loved was from a now-defunct place in CA. Their crust was sourdough. Oh baby. I nice thick sourdough crust. Pretty much anything on it made me happy.

Then I discovered Veggie pizza, but your typical toppings (I call it my quasi-veggie). This, when I can finda place that does all of them, is what I order: Sausage (why it's not totally veggie), mushrooms, olives and zucchini. Yes, Zucchini. Sometimes I'll also do artichoke hearts too... very few places do zucchini, so nowadays I stick usually with the ham and pineapple. Sometimes I get Amy's vegetarian frozen pizzas... those are really good.

I just can't handle huge amounts of meat on my pizza anymore... hence my quasi-veggie with a smattering of sausage.

It depends on my mood;
I love taco pizza without the sour cream or guacamole, with salsa on the side.

I craze Chicago style sometimes, with pepperoni and gobs of cheese.

There's a home town place here that makes a fabulous pizza, the kind that if you move away and come back for a visit you can't leave town again without having one. They're sloppy, saucy, cheesey, and a little greasy but OMG, they're good! Love them with ham and extra cheese.

Thin crust with chicken, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes. I
hawaiian style (pineapple & canadian bacon). Last time DBF and I got pizza, we did Papa Murphy's; half pepperoni for him and half Hawaiian for me.

I don't eat pizza that often but since I've been training for a marathon, I eat it without guilt

I used to work at a pizza place..my favorite pizza is a thin crust with honey barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce and pineapples and chicken as toppings...
But I can't have just one favorite- of course I also love a plain cheese pizza on a hand tossed crust with marinara sauce instead of the spicier tomato sauce that goes on it...Yummy! For this kind, it all depends on the type of spices that are put into the sauce- like it has to have bay leaves!! And of course the crust has to be good..I prefer to make it myself because I don't like the papa john's, domino's or most of the other famous chains' cheese pizzas..
