Addicted to cook books that is.
I was wasting time in town until my class started and I saw a cookbook for $3. The pictures were scrumptious, they all looked so amazing. Yep I bought it. What makes me an addict? It's in spanish and I don't read spanish! So I'm putting the recipe titles in to the google translator now Not to mention that I have about 400 other cookbooks!
What are you addicted to?

I am addicted to books in general. All kinds of books. I have book shelves FULL of them and STILL ask for barnes&noble gift cards for birthdays and holidays! I'd get a library card but i like keeping my books...however i read so fast that buying them is almost a waste of money. Some books on my shelves i have read over 3 times!

I'm addicted to handbags (purses). Anytime I go shopping I have to stop and look at all the new handbags whether I buy them or not. I have always gone for the larger ones but recently I now go for the med to smaller ones. Still keep those big ones tho.

I love books too but unlike you I don't like to keep them so I do belong to the local library. Love to read in my free time and have all the books saved in my Excel and printed out and take that list with me to the library, I would hate to read the same book twice.

Wow...400 cookbooks? Can I come to your house for dinner?? Do you have any of Gordon Ramsey's cookbooks by any chance? If so, are the receipes hard to make?

I'm like you. I don't read much at home, but at work we can read in between calls and I can go through 3-4 books a week. I have reread almost everything I have, and am SO glad the holidays are coming because I need new ones!

I'm addicted to books, shoes, and cats. I love cookbooks, too, but I don't have anywhere near 400 (100, maybe ).

Well, maybe not quite 400 cookbooks, but there's three boxes packed up and I still have at least another big box worth still on the shelf.
Oddly enough I don't have a single Gordon Ramsay cookbook...I'll have to look for one used, just out of curiosity! I do have Jamie Oliver and I really like his

Books, bears and of course cats!

I have issues with Yankee Candles and also lotions and bath stuff.

I am the same way. I dont always bring books to work but when i do i go through a few a week. I read all four of the twilight books in 10 days...(the third one was hard to get through...i didnt keep my attention) but that is just an example. I was so excited Monday because my birthday was last week and i got 2 barnes and noble gift cards and ordered some books online! they are due to come in tomorrow!!!

I'm addicted to books as well. I have roughly 600 or so, possibly more... it was bad at Wordstock earlier this month (the event where I broke my kneecap afterward). It's a local literary fair with authors and such. The Multnomah County Library system had a space off to the side where they put all the books deleted from their system. I had two full paper grocery bags FULL of books. Bad, so very bad. But they were free, so no complaints there.

My other addictions? Music. I have over 1000 CD's. I also get obsessed with penguins.

Oh yeah, and there's this fabric thing. My job doesn't help that one... I work in a fabric store... way too much fabric... but I ain't gettin' rid of any of it! I know people with a lot more than me!!
