I hope you guys aren't sick of my baby chinchilla pics yet. Here are two of my babies. Leo is the one I posted a gazillion pics of with his brother pinky. Pinky has since gone back to the breeder (who was thrilled with how nice he turned out!). The other is my little beige girl, she doesn't have a name yet. I hadn't planned to keep her, but she's turning out nicer than her mom even. Her mom is nice quality too! I was a little cautious about this breeding because her dad is scrawney, not skinny, just small (400 grams). But I attribute his size to his early surgery (leg amputation at 3 months old). He didn't grow right after his surgery, lost his appetite for a while. His mom was nice sized though (700+ grams), and dad's not too small either (638 grams). This baby is growing fast and looks like she's going to be big! She's going to be paired with Leo, if she and Paisley (leo's other girlfriend) get along. Anyway, here they are!
