Sadie has been pukeing up green stuff and has diarrarha *not good* I just called a friend crying and she told me waint intill my mom gets home at 7:00pm and tell her what is going on. My mom and I were going to take her to the vets in Nov. when I get my SSI check but I want to make an appt 2morow and get her in ASAP but I need $$$$$. Is another week bad to wait when I dont have the $$$$$ ???? My friend also says if we have to put her down then she'll go to kitty heaven and I was sobbing I just pray that it doesnt come to that but my other cats havent had their shots yet and all 3 of them have touched noses. My dad doesnt want her in the bathroom anymore nor my room. I cant spearate them. Uhhggghhh this is a mess.

You need to call your vet and get Sadie seen ASAP. Explain the situation and see if you can go onto a payment plan of some sort.

You also really need to have a fund set aside with money for the cats - they haven't been vaccinated, and you NEED to have money set aside for routine and emergency care.

Please call your vet and explain the situation to them first so you can give your mum more information when you talk to her.

She'll prolly says it's the catfood and that we should try diff catfood then sees what happens. Sadie seems happy and eating like a pig.

Tiffany -
Where did you get the idea of distemper from? Cats do throw up and have diarrhea for other reasons, changing food is a reason why it could happen, for example. I know you got her recently, so maybe that could be the case? Do you have plants in your house that she could have eaten?
Did you give her treats?
You said the diarrhea and vomit were green - did you give her treats? There is a treat called Greenies - did you give it to her? if so, this could be it - this treat is notorious for causing diarrhea (green) and vomit (green).
I assume, since you have other cats, that you already have a vet - call him, and ask if you can give a check for next week. It shouldn't be a problem!

Tiffany, you know how to request signatures as you have already done so in the official signature thread. Please just be patient.
