I'm so glad they found the owners. Still awful for the kitty and awful for you, but at least there will be family waiting to support the kitty in his/her healing. Keeping lots of and prayers flowing that it's not a difficult healing.

Oh that's so wonderful that they were able to find an owner! The fact that they transferred the kitty to their own vet to have it taken care of is great as well.

I'm so glad you were there - you saved this kitty's life!

I had to rescue an injured kitty off a road once, and it was horrible. It was in pain, and hissing, but couldn't move. He was wearing a collar and tag and we could call the owner who was just across the road, which was lucky, but every time I drove past that area I got all teary eyed thinking of the kitty in pain

Thats great news the owner was found ..... I hope they realize that you saved their kitties life (hopefully) and will be kind enough to keep you updated.

Thank you all for your prayers. I only did what I had to do - I could not leave that poor baby there to die just as you folks wouldn't.

It took me some time to calm down but now that I know his owners are caring for him, I'm OK.
