Checking in from the library to let me SS know that I received my gifts yesterday

I was going to wait... but the dark side is strong. So I opened them, lol.

I am unable to upload from my camera since my computer broke, and my cell phone pictures came out too dark to see anything, so this year I will just have to describe things

I received a gorgeous silver picture frame that has a kitty face and says "meow" on the top. Its going to be tough deciding which adorable kitty picture to place in it! I also received an adorable kitty Christmas ornament. I am trying to get a whole collection of cat decorations for my tree so this is perfect. Then I got a box of yankee candle tea light candles which smell so yummy. They are cinnamon and sugar
Also included was a box of chocolates which seem to have disappeared already

The boys received a bag of treats which they have already approved of and some catnip toys which have already retreated under the furniture
which means they're good!

My SS was sneaky and put NO clues in the package for me, so once I'm back on the computer Monday I'll have to do some investigating based on location. Thank you SS

Tigger insisted he needed to be first in the box.

Sampson laying claim to the mice.

Again Tigger just had to be in the middle of everything.

Here is a picture of the loot. Let's see candles ( you can never have enough), lots of cat toys, note pads, cat treats, chocolate for me, wacky world of cats calender, a lovely marble plaque- it says I live in my own little world but it's ok, they know me here - DH said it fits me perfectly.

She even included my dogs. Tennis Balls and dog treats, kitty socks they even have a little tail on the end of the sock.

I tried getting better pictures of the loot but every time I set it up neatly cats were all over everything. There was a bag of catnip that they were just bound and determined it get into.

Now, I've saved the things that touched me the most for last. My SS made me a card and included pictures of all my cats all over this card.
She even added pictures of Jax my little orphan kitten. I love this card so
much.

Another absolute favorite gift was this t-shirt, with ALLLLL of my babies
on it. Cats and dogs!
I love it!!

Now only a few things left. I was very touched by everything I received, but to remember that my son is in the Navy was something I was not expecting and was such a wonderful surprise.

She sent me these buttons as well as lots of Navy stickers that I just
adore. She even included a button for my husband.

I don't think I can express how much these last few things have meant to me. She could not have know that, with one son stationed in Japan and another leaving in February to join the Army, how stressed I've been about the holidays. I needed these wonderful Christmas gifts to lift my
spirit and reminding me just how much I have to be thankful for!

I am almost positive (now) who my SS but I'm waiting for confirmation.

Yuppers, I am the culprit! I was even extra sneaky and put a "fake" return address on her package but mailed it from my home. (It was a TCS person's address but NOT IN MY STATE! I love TCS friends willing to help send people on a wild goose chase) I had such a blast shopping and making stuff for you!
I was hoping you would like the T-shirt and Buttons and Stickers as much as you did! I know you love your kids immensely and from our time on AC I know how proud of your son in the Navy you are! I knew from the moment I got your name I wanted to include something regarding him.

And in the card I slipped in two little pictures of Kitters in there! She is in the center left and center right of that picture.
Kitters was even a good girl and didn't steal any of the Eva's kitties toys!

When I saw the little sign it made me giggle, so I HAD to send it. Kinda' goes with us playing on Animal Crossing too! "Our own little world!"

Merry Christmas Eva!!! May you are your gang have a Wonderful Holiday!

I've never been much of one for subterfuge.

The hat is from the Texas Rangers. However, it also works for the Toledo Mud Hens!

Come to the Dark Side, Luke. You know you want to; you can feel it calling!

I've been trying to be a good light sider, but now I've gotten a message through a snooper that I need to open the outer package. There's darksider things inside that might go stale. I told the snooper that if I open the outer package, the dark side might make me 'go all the way'.......cuz I'm a little bit naughty at heart!!!

I just received word from a snooper that my package from my SS was supposed to be delivered today.
Unfortunately, the mail-lady didn't honk her horn like she's supposed to do to let me know she has a package, and just stuck a notice inside the mailbox.
So now I have to wait till Monday to pick it up.
I'm so excited!
Now I need to decide if I want to wait till Christmas to open it, or should I give in and join the dark side this year?

My Santee will be happy to know that his/her package was mailed out on Thursday from ______. I paid extra to make sure that he/she will have his/her stuff in time for Christmas. So fear not: your stuff is on its way!

Good to know. There was talk of mailing a package to someone and having them re-mail it earlier, so I considered the possibility you had re-mailed it for someone to throw me off the trail.

Well, that's embarrassing. Especially since I lived in Texas for 5 years.

I was born a dark sider, so it was probably never more than a rhetorical question, but I was at least pondering it. Tiny had no such reservations and began chewing the wrapping paper off right after I posted:

Here's my human loot:

The gifts are:
  • The Texas Rangers hat shown earlier
  • A Dallas Mavericks T-Shirt
  • A cute cat wall calendar by Gary Patterson
  • The book "Homer's Odyssey", which is about a blind cat. Very cool, because 1) I haven't read it yet and 2) I have a nearly blind cat.
  • A giant Hershey's chocolate bar which I'm sitting here NOMing on right now.
The cats enjoyed my presents, too. Tiny played with the wrapping paper for a while...

... then got bored and lay on the box for a while ...

... and Thufir took her place on the wrapping paper.

Last (and probably least), here I am with the hat and the T-Shirt on. Sorry if I look like a serial killer in the photo, but it's hard to hold the camera in one hand and get a good self-portrait.

Many thanks to you for all the great presents, mrblanche. Mine were great and the kitties loved just about everything - the box, the wrapping paper, and even the actual kitty presents.

Well I know who both of them are
, but if you give hints, the elves can point you in the right direction.
