I had another false alarm! The gifts I ordered for my brother were on my front porch when I came home. I got all excited...then read the return address.

Helen has thoroughly spoiled the girls and I! We got another gift in the mail today! This time from Plain Brown Tabby - they got Kirby Sticks, catnip buddies, catnip covered felt mice, and catnip filled strawberry and pineapple as well as a sample of freeze dried chicken treats. The girls had SO MUCH FUN thoroughly exploring every toy!

I took a bunch of photos that are uploading, and I'm about to go pick up hubby, then we're babysitting a friends kids, so I may not get to upload them until later tonight. I'll put them up ASAP though

It's a good thing the postal service or UPS doesn't use sniffing kitties to check packages like the cops use sniffing dogs to track drugs. Then we'd ALL be in trouble!

You know how the post office in the US always asks if there is anything fragile, liquid or potentially dangerous? Whenever I ship cat toys (which is often), I always reply "only if you consider catnip dangerous to cats". They always laugh. It's a really good thing they don't have sniffing kitties at my post office. I'd be busted!!

In Canada there are two ways of dealing with those questions. You can prepare your shipment online -- which in many ways is very convenient, but the downside is that there is infinite room for itemizing your declaration, which leaves no excuse for not being precise. I've learned to use the old fashioned route and take my parcel to the post office, where they shove a form at me -- a small form with not very much room for descriptions

and therefore it's necessary to consolidate/group, and catnip gets included in cat treats.

And I Loved loved love loved the gifts, especially the blanky, the candles and the soap (LOOOOVE the scent) and the fortune cookies! Bugsy went WILD for them! It was SO funny to see him wanting to rip that box open!

So, mods, am I right? It is Grogs?

I just hope the "inspectors" didn't take off too many points for not filling out the radiation survey card. I just had this awful vision of you opening the box and calling in the Dallas Bomb Squad to investigate.
