So my gift was the highlight of my day!
I opened it up thinking it would be wrapped, but it wasn't....I guess I could have stopped but I heard the dark side calling me

I have no idea who it's from, there wasn't a card, the address is from Lincolnton NC and it was shipped in Terrell NC. Thank you SS!! You may (ok, you definitely will) need to send me some hints as to who you are.
I love the magnet! It's already on my fridge next to my singing Elvis.

My SS sent me a really nice Columbia throw/pillow!!! Along with doggy and kitty treats, sardines addressed to Ruby
some kitty toys and some candy.

My favorite is definitely the Audrey Hepburn magnet though!

Thank you!!!
awesome!!!!!

I think the best part of SS is the happiness of the person opening the gifts... I look forward to that most, even if they aren't my recipient.... Making peoples day is awesome.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night with that realization!

(Which tells you just how thrilling my dreams must be...

Just read this whole thread for the first time! It is all getting so exciting - and gifts so far have been really fun. I love the 'swine flew' joke.

I had an awesome birthday with tons of great gifts and my friends around. My dad couldn't come because he can't eat right now and it would have worn him out too much.

I did open my gift, but I haven't had time to take a picture! I will do that when I get home! I already ate a few of the goodies and they were good!

I haven't sent mine yet. Every time I go into a store or craft sale I find something else I think my SS will like. If I don't stop soon I won't be able to afford to send the weight of the gift.

Same here!! Not to mention trying to hide the items I buy from hubby
He only agreed because of the $20 limit
(We are trying to save for a house and on a strict budget)

How did they sneak "swine flew" through customs? Security is getting lax in America these days...

That was so thoughtful of your SS to send you a birthday present. I'm glad you had a good time, you certainly deserve it!

Hey, just drop it off instead. You don't live far from me.

Well, I have to confess to opening one of my presents.
Actually, it wasn't me, but Pushkin. One of the presents wasn't quite shut properly and little bits of tinsel were sticking out and taunting the cats. Pushy couldn't take it anymore and pulled them out. So at that point I had to open it, just for safety's sake of course.

Here is my cool metal rose from my very creative Secret Santa! It will be pretty obvious who she is.

Thank you Melissa! I'm very much looking forward to opening the rest!

I will be sending my gifts after I get paid on the 5th. It will not be as nice as some of these though because of finances!

I agree with sarahp. Everytime I look at the gift from my SS, I will think of that person and how thoughtful they were to do something nice for me. It doesn't matter about the cost at all.
