Here recently, I'm not sure what changed, but my cats have been really touchy-feely. I don't know if they have just finally warmed up to us, but...

My kittens will wake me up at all hours of the night, not meowing but doing some other kind of noise.. if I don't respond, they will push their heads/necks onto my hand. I will scratch their heads/necks etc and then if I stop, they won't quit bothering me.

This morning the one woke me up at 5am and I scratched her around her ears for a little bit and then stopped to go back to sleep. It was almost as she got irritated at me and she jumped off the bed and made this noise that almost sounded like she was saying, "Hmph" and walking away in disgust. lol (I don't know how to spell that sound lol)

Just curious if anyone else's cats/kittens do this? And why are they doing this? I don't mind scratching them and giving them love but, 3, 5 6 am in the morning?? Come on girls! lol

They seem to want a lot of attention here lately which is fine because me and my husband will give it, but anyone have any ideas on the change? I know it's a good change, but I don't know much about cats so I don't know exactly what this means except that they love me scratching them!

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Ill trade you a lovey dovey one for a cat who boofers (farts) under the covers then wakes you up to get out from under the covers and procedes to wake me and BF up due to stinkyness!!!! lol
Maybe they were up playing all night and want some luvins to get ready to go back to sleep..Gotta remember we are their slaves not owners..haha
