Meet Zeus My Mighty Kitty

Hi everyone! This is my first post here and to be honest, I never imagined myself joining a cat forum as I've never had a cat until Zeus came along. I have dogs all my life and is a member of a forum for dogs. And since I have Zeus now, it is but right to find a place where I can learn more about cats in general and to be able to adjust well with our new life living not just with dogs and fishes, but with a cat.

Here's our kitty ZEUS:


We think he is just around 3-4 months when we found him. He actually followed me home. I wasn't sure about keeping him at first before because of the dogs. But, since day one, the dogs all loved him. So to end the story short, after looking for his owners for two weeks, we have decided to give him a home. It was the best decision for all of us.

He gets along really well with our dogs. He is also a people's cat and he loves kids.

Thanks AJ and DarkImager. He is an adorable kitty. It is quite amazing how he bonded so well with the dogs. Sometimes I think he thinks he is a dog. Or he has manipulated the dogs into thinking they are cats like him.

What a cute kitty!! And I couldn't help but to smile with the pictures with the doggies and him - you are right.... but if I know cats he manipulated them to think they are kitties just like him!

He is so handsome! I love that he is sitting just like the dogs. It's like he thinks they are his litter mates! Very nice family.

Zeus is a beautiful boy, and that picture of him and the dogs is absolutely priceless, and belongs in a frame on your wall!

The first thing you need to do is get Zeus in for a check up. he will need to be tested for FeLV/FIV, and if deemed healthy enough, get his kitten shots started.

And his neuter of course.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Zeus is already booked for this coming saturday to get his shots and possibly get him chipped. He is an indoor cat but I want to make sure that just in case he accidentally gets out that I will be able to get him back.

He is an awesome little kitten. I thought dogs are awesome with routine. I was wrong. Before Zeus, our boy Cain usually wakes us up at 6am in the morning, weekends included. But because of work, we started getting up at quarter to 5am. This is the routine that Zeus got used to. So now, every morning, INCLUDING WEEKENDS, this little cat jumps on the bed and wakes us up at 4:45am! NEVER FAILS. If we dont get up, he starts talking to us until one of us eventually gets up. There's just no way to ignore this boy. LOL!

Everynight, he also says good night to the dogs, he goes in their crates one by one and rubs against them, he gets a few licks from them in return. Life has definitely became interesting for all of us here since Zeus came.
