13 cats and holding...............

HI. I'm new here and here is a collage of my 13 cats:

There names are Amber, Ashley, Biddy, Calvin, Fern, Jasper, Lucas, Monte, Rutherford,Sterling, Willow, Jim and Kim.
I love to post pictures of them so keep your eyes open for them.
I hope you will tell me what pets you have if you post on this thread.

Welcome aboard Jen.....we have several members here that have over 10 cats. One member has "18" furkids. You will fit right in. You will love it here....everyone is so nice.

Welcome to the site! This is probably one of the few places where you won't get that "What are you? Nuts?" look when you say you have 13 cats! LOL I'm only owned by two cats.

You'll love it here, we all love cats, love seeing pics, love hearing and telling stories, etc.

I actually saw another one of your posts (litterbox one) where you had so many cats and what caught my eye was that they are all indoor! I think that is soooooooooo wonderful! I very strongly believe that's where cats belong and it's a reliever to hear you do as well (from the sounds of it). =) I commend you for that and think it's so important and they are very lucky (as you are as well I'm sure). =)

I thought I read that you also did rescue or foster work? You sound so much like me, I'm just at 8 indoor. My hubby would leave if I took any more in!! =) He thought I was crazy at 3.. somehow I just kept getting my way.. and hopefully will continue to! =)

Thanks guys. This is a VERY old thread. I did not (after all) hold at 13 cats. I do foster cats for a rescue group and "failed" two times. Bonnie was adopted shortly after this thread in August and Mickey in December of 2003. But since then over 60 cats have come to live here and moved on to their new homes.

Aww.. I think that's so awesome! I'm so happy to hear that. You do really good things for these cats, so thank you (from every cat lover). =)

I have 10 indoors (9 feral-born) - Velvet (black & last of my original 3 cats of this house,), Lilliput (alpha cat & grey tabbie), Frosty & Dickens (white brothers) Tory & Slinky (their grey tabby sisters, Clickety & Angel (formerly Clack - white siblings,) Moogie (white) & Beachball (gray tabbie "residual" from a litter of 4 ferals that I fostered & rehomed last summer.).
Also feeding 1-3 ferals outdoors, including Moogie's mom, whom I trapped & spayed, but could not tame.
I sing the praises of the carpet rake!
