Nice to see an Englishman with the title again, but what a weird year. Too bad there has to be a driver's championship awarded every year, because no one really went out and grabbed the thing by throat. Brawn dominated with a superior car early, but when the playing field was leveled, it more or less became a comedy of errors with every leading contender making dumb mistakes or not being competitive.
I enjoyed seeing Lewis Hamilton bring the McLaren back into the throes of respectability, after a disastrous first half of the season. Even his most vocal critics have to commend him on his ability to make an average car competitive.
