Hello all,

I am currently feeding my kitties Science Diet, but I feel they could be eating better. I have heard a lot about the "Chicken Soup for the Cat Lovers Soul". Has anyone tried it? What do you think?

FYI:

Ingredients:

Vitamins and minerals.

My cats loved it. The only reason we didn't make a permanent switch to it was that I can only get it via mail order, there's nowhere close to me that sells it, and the shipping charges are obscene.

The shipping is a problem. I only have the large chain pet stores by me and they don't carry the food. I don't mind paying for really good food though. Any other suggestions for a great cat food?

They do not sell it at places like PetSmart or Petco...only small family-owned type places.

My cats love the stuff. They been eating it for 3 weeks. Their website has a store locater....I have it at Pets Supplies Plus in Michigan. The food is kinda hard to find because it is only a few months old. Call a feed store in your area. I like it because it has "5" protein sources in it.

I have been feeding it for almost 4 months now...my cats love and seem to be doing quite well on it. I have no complaints. I get mine from Pet Supplies Plus or a small feed store close by which is actually over $1.00 for a 6lb. bag. Just for the heck of it you should check the store locator on their website...you never know.
If you only have large chain stores nearby like Petco or Petsmart...Nutro is available at both and Natural Balance and Royal Canin are available at Petco.

Oops. That should have said: which is actually over $1.00 cheaper for a 6lb. bag.

My Pets Supplies Plus has the trial bags. They cost $2.00 for 2 pounds. That is only $1.00 per pound
premium food of this quality don't come any cheaper than this........What a deal

I looked for a store on their website, and there is nothing close to me.
The closest store is in Ramona which is a good 40 minutes away. I have looked into the Nutro and the Royal Canin, but the ingredients just don't compare to the Chicken Soup. I think I will try the Natural Balance though....the ingredients seem closer to the Chicken Soup food.
